Fish Fry In Crowley & LSU In Baton Rouge
Apr 6th, 2008 by gtull1
We had a blast this weekend.
We all took a trip to Crowley, Louisiana to my wife’s family farm. Her dad, brother, step-mom, uncle, niece, and nephew were all there. Her dad fried up some catfish, and let me tell you that that was some good eating! That might have been the best fish fry that I have ever been to. You know how catfish is normally fried with cornmeal? Well, he used flour instead, and he soaked the catfish filets in mustard. The catfish were only a few days old, and they were caught right there in the bayou. Wow! That was FANTASTIC!
We also went to the 2008 LSU spring game in Baton Rouge. My little one had so much fun. His brother and sister aren’t really into it, but my baby boy is an LSU football fanatic! I have never seen anyone so obsessed with sports as he is. That boy has huge shoulders too, so he just might end up being a Tiger himself. We’ll see.
On the Cajuns site, we also worked some more on the Baton Rouge Louisiana section. Have a look if you want to. We added: Restaurants in Baton Rouge, Fishing In Baton Rouge, and the Baton Rouge Map.
How was your weekend?
