Done With Baton Rouge, Moving On To New Orleans
Apr 11th, 2008 by gtull1
Let’s get the news over with for the Cajuns site first.
We have completely finished the section on Baton Rouge Louisiana now. The pages in this are: Baton Rouge History, Things To Do In Baton Rouge, Colleges In Baton Rouge, Schools In Baton Rouge, Employers In Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge Demographics, Map Of Baton Rouge, Fishing In Baton Rouge, Restaurants In Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge Hotels, Baton Rouge Housing, Baton Rouge Lawyers, and Baton Rouge Hospitals. Whew! That was a lot of work. I sure hope that a few of y’all enjoy this, and maybe even a few people will find it useful.
Now we’re starting a section on New Orleans Louisiana. This one is going to take us a while. Don’t expect it to be done for at least a few weeks. We’re throwing everything we know about the Big easy into this one.
Would you like to help? We will gladly mention you as a contributor, if you would like that. Here’s how you can: Take a look at the pages for errors. If you see something that is wrong, get in touch with us. You could also add information that you think should be included. We could really use this input for the section on New Orleans.
So how are all of you doing? We’re doing just fine.
The school year is wrapping up, and the kids can’t wait to get out. We’re actually thinking about homeschooling our two little ones next year (5th and 7th graders). It’s a thought, but we’re seriously considering it. Both of them go to a good Catholic school now, but I would like to save a few bucks and I think that I could teach them better. With our older one (11th grader) going to an expensive Catholic high school, the costs are just killing us. We pay as much for their schools as we do for our home. That’s just nuts!!
I can feel the summer coming up on us in Louisiana. Can you? It has been in the mid 80’s over the last few days. Within a few more weeks, it will be in the mid 90’s. Sigh…
Take care everyone! Thanks for the support, and don’t be a comment stranger (comments are welcomed and loved).
:O)
