Cooking Lobsters Cajun Style!

So my nephew brought us a whole case of live lobsters the other day. We sure were grateful for them, but how in the heck were we going to cook them? I’ve had my share of lobsters at the store, but in my opinion they are just boring! I mean, where is the seasoning? I know that all kinds of seafood, including lobsters, is great for just about every illness, including pancreatic tumors of all things. So I looked up some lobster recipes to figure it out. It was something like this:
Bring a very large kettle of salted water to a rolling boil. Using long tongs, quickly but carefully lower live lobsters into the boiling water. Simmer for about 10 minutes, or until lobsters are bright red. Serve with melted butter for dipping.
See what I mean? Those Northerners just boil the big crawfish in water, and no seasoning at all! Now is that boring or what?
That’s when the idea hit me to cook these suckers Cajun style. Why not? Lobsters are just over sized crawfish anyways. So that’s just what we did. I whipped out the crawfish pot, seasoning, etc., and we made ourselves some giant crawfish.
Now let me tell you, that was some good eating! I will never eat plain, boring lobster again. From now on it’s nothing but Cajun lobsters for me!
