Gustav Coming! Got Insurance?

You all know that Hurricane Gustav is coming straight for us in Louisiana. The last I heard, it will likely be hitting us on Monday or Tuesday. It could be anywhere from a category 2 to 4 storm. That’s not good news for us in South Louisiana!
So I figured out that I should at least make sure that our insurance is up to date. Since we will likely be losing something in Gustav, we better make sure that our policies are good and paid for. So I called our Allstate agent and double checked. Our automobile insurance, fire insurance, home insurance, and life insurance policies were all good. Well, that’s one less thing to worry about.
You know that during Katrina a lot of people were done wrong by the insurance companies. I had a few friends that had to file a lawsuit over the whole mess. If this Gustav is anything like that, we better make sure we’re ready for it this time.
So are your policies up to date? You really should make sure right now.
