No Hotels Near Baton Rouge

Aug 31st, 2008 by gtull1

Gustav is about to hit Baton Rouge head on. Of course the worst place to be is along the coast, but Gustav will be playing games with us here in the capital city as well. We have a lot of family that lives around the coast in places like Cameron, Lake Charles, etc. A lot of them came here to stay with us while Gustav does its thing. More family has been looking for a place to live temporarily in the Baton Rouge area, but there are no available hotels here. Of course they can’t stay in any New Orleans resorts either, as that city is being evacuated. So a lot of them are heading North and West to places like Virginia and San Antonio. So what are we doing while waiting for the storm? We’re playing Worldofwarcraft Gold right now. We’ll keep on playing until the storm takes our power out.
